Queen of The South Season 5: Confirmed Release Date And More Updates

Queen of the South is practically ready for the premiere of its season 5 on the USA Network and Netflix, so the main actress of the show, Alice Braga, has revealed the video of the first trailer and its premiere date.

All Queen of the South fans has been waiting almost two years for the series to drop its fifth installment, after production was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak in March 2020.

The first footage that has been revealed of the fifth season promises that the next episodes will bring Teresa closer to her destiny as the largest drug trafficker in the southern United States.

The actress who plays Teresa, Alice Braga, appears to be wearing the striking white suit of her darker alter-ego for most of the new trailer, suggesting that her past, present, and future are finally starting to come together. Check out the first trailer.

As the gripping action unfolds in just 15 seconds of new footage, James warns that he will have to disappear while Teresa promises that she is “done playing.”

As for its premiere date, USA Network has confirmed that the new season will begin in April, although they have not specified on which day the premiere will be broadcast, it will be very soon.
