She is an Indian actress, model, and singer. Chopra, the Miss World 2000 winner, is one of India’s highest-paid actresses. Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif will also play lead parts. Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, and Reema Kagti wrote the screenplay. Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan Akhtar will produce the film.
Kalpana Chawla Biopic
In her biopic, actress Priyanka Chopra will portray astronaut Kalpana Chawla. Priya Mishra will make her directorial debut with the film. Kalpana Chawla was the first Indian-origin woman in space. She died in 2003, while returning to Earth aboard the space shuttle Columbia with six other astronauts.
Her terrible demise was a huge loss for both the country and the world. She was a trendsetter and role model for girls all around the country. Even after 15 years, she is recognised as the woman who gave wings to innumerable girls’ dreams across the country and beyond the world.
