Fans of the Japanese arcade will be well aware of Prison School. After all, it’s quite a well-renowned ecchi anime. The anime is based on Akira Hiramoto’s manga collection of the exact same name. Manufactured by J.C. Staff studio, the anime originally aired from July to September 2015. What’s more, the anime just has one season comprising 12 episodes. Also, Tsutomu Mizushima serves as the show director. Additionally, an OVA sequel named’Prison School: Mad Wax’ premiered in March 2016.
Prison School Season 2: Release Date
Fans have been eagerly anticipating a second season ever since 2015. On the other hand, the possibility of season two seems quite improbable. So far, the anime is yet to receive a renewal. Furthermore, the manager himself expressed doubts regarding whether or not a new season would occur. For the time being, we’ll have to wait for a formal word to know the anime’s future for certain.
Prison School Season 2: Possible Cast
Considering the anime has not been revived, we can’t comment on the throw. Still, we assume that if a year two happens, the five’offenders’ would reprise their roles. This implies Kiyoshi (voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya), Reiji (Kazuyuki Okitsu), Takehito ( Katsuyuki Konishi), etc would come back to the school. In addition, Mari Kurihara (Sayaka Ohara) along with other members of the student councils are also expected to join.
As usual with anime, the series features multiple sets of voice-cast. For now two, we anticipate the Japanese cast to remain the same. However, we can not say the same for the English cast. The English dub of this series was not received well. And when season two happens, we believe that a change in the cast will be necessary.

Prison School Season 2: Expected Plot
Concerning the storyline of the following year, we know next to nothing. Though, we assume season two could pick up from 2016’s OVA. The outcome of Underground Student Council member’s imprisonment is going to be delved into. And, the male pupils’ life from jail will also be explored. The students would also need to adjust to their new surroundings. What’s more, the rivalry between the Underground and Aboveground school councils is also revealed in the second season.
Prison School Season 2: Trailer
As stated earlier, the show is not yet been renewed. So, fans waiting to get a trailer might need to be let down. Additionally, we do not expect the trailer to drop anytime soon. However, if any new developments happen, we will let you know. Stay tuned for more.
