Japan is acclaimed for its unique diversity, art, and detail-oriented visuals. Anime viewers are dramatically turning around the world, introducing the audience to the culture of Japan and the Japanese. One of his notable anime or manga is The Prison School. The first season consisted of 12 episodes and aired from July to September 2015, while a live-action drama series aired from October to December 2015. It has been five years since Prison School’s debut, and yet the show’s creators have not released any statement regarding the show’s renewal or cancellation. Tsutomu Mizushima, the director of the series was approached by an author via Twitter regarding the renewal of the show to which the director responded vaguely but grateful to his fans for their love towards the show. The director did not confirm or deny the continuation of the show.

In Tokyo, Japan Hachimitsu Academy is one of the strictest girls’ schools that decided to award and admit boys to its institution. The show’s protagonist later discovers that they are the only five male students admitted out of a thousand girls. What makes things difficult for friends are the draconian laws in force, which are intended to punish even the slightest infraction or disobedience. Aware of the circumstances, the five friends indulge in voyeurism in the bathroom area with a lewd philosophy. They are captured by the underground student council that gives them the option of staying in the school prison for a season of thirty days or being expelled from the academy.
