PM Modi on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day announced to launch 100 lakh crore, ‘Gati Shakti Master Plan‘, an infrastructure plan on a national scale. He began his speech as, “I would like to begin by conveying greetings on this special occasion of Independence Day. This is a day to remember our great freedom fighters. Be it Vallabhbhai Patel, Lal Bahadur Shastri, or Jawaharlal Nehru, we are thankful to our leaders who brought Independence,”.
Further while talking about Gita Shakti Master Plan he said, “In the coming days, we will launch the PM Gati Shakti Plan — a 100 lakh-crore national infrastructure master project that will make a foundation for holistic infrastructure and give an integrated pathway to our economy. To further increase our developmental progress, we have to focus on our manufacturing and export,”. “Gati Shakti will help local manufacturers turn globally competitive; also develop possibilities of new future economic zones. Rs 100 lakh crore Gatishakti initiative will bring employment opportunities for youth, help in holistic infrastructure growth,”.
From BJP’s official Twitter handle, about Gita Shakti Plan was posted as “Gati Shakti will help our local manufacturers turn into globally competitive. This will also develop possibilities of new future economic zones. Walking the road of development, India needs to increase both manufacturing and exports. #IndiaIndependenceDay”.
While addressing the nation PM Modi also stated, “We will have to work together for manufacturing world-class products, using cutting-edge innovation and new-age technology”. 75 Vande Bharat trains will be launched to connect different regions of the nation. This rail service will connect the capitals of the North-Eastern states and also all the other South Eastern countries like Myanmar and Bangladesh. 75 weeks of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence will see the launch of Vande Bharat train connects. For building a new India, PM Modi added “Sabka Prayas” in the slogan of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”.

PM Modi further in his speech said that this project will open up employment opportunities for the youths of our country. And also called on the stakeholders and manufacturers to give rise to manufacturing processes to increase the exports from the country as well. Project Gati Shakti is the foundation of India’s future will take the country in the golden age of development, development which is described as “Amrit Kaal” for all the citizens of the country.
Modi made a statement on this as, “In the coming days, we will launch PM Gati Shakti Plan, a 100 lakh crore infrastructure plan which will make a foundation for holistic infrastructure and give an integrated pathway to our economy”.
Not only the project Gati Shakti is to be launched soon by the Govt, but several other projects are to be launched among them is the National Hydrogen Mission, on which PM announced, “Today we have to pledge to make India energy independent before completing 100 years of independence. India has moved towards electric mobility and work is underway on 100% electrification of Indian Railways with the aim to becoming net zero carbon emitter by the year 2030,”.
