Whenever you think that your family drama may be getting too controversial, switch on an episode of Ozark and I promise you will feel better. The Byrde family boasts Godfather-degree dysfunction, as evidenced by the money-laundering, short-term estrangements, and, uh, murder which prop up the plot.
As a Missourian, born and raised, I can’t say this hit Netflix string is a ringing endorsement of my home state, but it sure makes for riveting television. We know a”super-sized” season 4 is on the way, which is good because things have gotten extracurricular recently. Ozark Season 4: Expected Release Date
Starring Jason Bateman, Ozark is a thrilling drama that focuses on Marty Byrde and his dealings in the drug market. He escaped a money-laundering performance in Chicago in season one, only to be forced into a bigger one in the Ozarks region of Missouri later on.
The first two seasons had summer releases in 2017 and 2018, while the third season appeared a bit longer for a late winter/early spring 2020 release. Based on this, it’d be reasonable to expect the fourth season of Ozark at Spring 2021 at the earliest, but with production so uncertain for everything going forward, you’ll have to take this with a grain of salt.
