Owaisi’s party AIMIM will contest on 100 seats in Uttar Pradesh

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has said that “we have decided that we will field our candidates on 100 seats, there has been no talk with us and any party regarding elections or alliance”.

Lucknow: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has given his stand on the news of alliance with BSP regarding the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh in 2022. Asaduddin Owaisi said that “We are with @oprajbhar sahib ‘Bhagidari Sankalp Morcha’, we have not had any talk with any other party regarding elections or alliance”.

Will field his candidate on 100 seats
Asaduddin Owaisi said that “I want to put some things in front of you regarding the UP elections, we have decided that we will field our candidates on 100 seats, the party has started the process of selecting the candidates and we have applied for the candidates. The letter has also been issued.

Significantly, on Saturday, there were reports that Bahujan Samaj Party will form an alliance with AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi in the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. However, the BSP supremo has put an end to these reports by tweeting. Now Asaduddin Owaisi has also made his stand clear regarding such news.

Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has denied reports that she will tie up with AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi in the UP assembly elections. He dismissed such reports outright by tweeting. In his tweet, the BSP supremo said that, these are misleading and factless news, there is not even an iota of truth in them.
