On May 9, 2018, Starz renewed the show for a fifth and sixth season. The fifth season of 12 episodes, based on The Fiery Cross, aired from February to May 2020. The final season will be based on A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

The Plot Of Outlander Season 6

Outlander revolves about a former nurse Clarie Randall from World War II who’s mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world in which her life is threatened.

She marries Jamie, a youthful Scottish warrior, because of necessity but then she quickly falls in love. She’s suspected of being a secret agent, so the highlanders retain her as a healer, preventing her from trying to come back to her own time. Later, she gets pregnant with Jamie’s kid and they plan to proceed to Paris, France. This series spans the genres of romance, science fiction, history, adventure, and politics within an epic story.

The Release Date Of Outlander Season 6 

On May 9, 2018, Starz verified that they will be renewing Outlander for seasons 5 and 6 and the seasons will comprise 12 episodes each.

There is not any official statement about the release of the upcoming season. The filming for the sixth season got delayed as a result of the pandemic. It only started a couple of days back. So, we can anticipate Outlander season 6 to arrive in 2022 only.
