Netflix has officially renewed Outer Banks for season two, much to the delight of lovers.

Production for season two has been complete at the end of January 2021, with filming taking place at the beginning of September 2020.
“We have kind of long-arced it out fairly far. I’m just hoping we get a chance to tell those stories.
“We feel as though we just played the opening round of that story.”
Fans will most likely have to wait until the end of 2021 for a brand new season.
Who’s in the Outer Banks cast?
Chase Stokes plays with John B and Madelyn Cline is Sarah–star-crossed lovers in the series that are currently relationship in real-life. John B’s friends are JJ (Rudy Pankow), Kiara (Madison Bailey), and Pope (Jonathan Daviss). Sarah’s evil Kook family and friends include her dead, Ward (Charles Esten), brother Rafe (Drew Starkey) along ex-boyfriend Topper (Austin North).
Some of the castings have been criticized for incorporating 20-somethings as high-schoolers–Stokes is 28, Cline is 23, and the remaining part of the teen cast is over 21–although that is not exactly unusual for teen shows and films. John B’s era comes into play at the show because with his missing father and absent mother, he also has been dodging social services, so his character is not yet 18.
What will happen in season 2 of Outer Banks?
There are loads of avenues to get a season two to take as the final incident left fans with all these questions.
There are hopes John B and Sarah are going to be taken to the Bahamas on the boat, as a result of the team who saved them.
Fans are hoping they will eventually locate the treasure connected to the disappearance of John B’s daddy.
The remainder of the gang are unaware their friends are still living, so it will be interesting to see how they make the discovery and how they cope without John B and Sarah in the meantime.
Season 2 is also likely to see that the comeuppance of Ward, as authorities have started to grow more suspicious of him with John B ratting him out in front of authorities.
