On My Block Season 4 successfully released three seasons for two years, starting in 2018. The third season released on March 11 was a huge success as it immediately hit Netflix’s top ten.
With last season’s hit or miss cliffhanger ending, fans would love more teen drama, and they can’t wait to watch the American comedy sitcom on Netflix.
Unfortunately, Netflix has yet to announce a renewal. Seeing the hype created by this teen drama series, it might be shocking to fans if Netflix doesn’t renew the series.
It was customary for the series to release its seasons in March, so we can predict that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has put production schedules on hold and it may take time for them to resume filming. We will therefore have to wait for any new announcement made by the creators of the show. But we predict it could be released in March 2021.
We expect all of the cast from season 3 to be back in season four. Important characters in the series star Sierra Capri as Monse Finnie, Jason Genao as Ruben Ruby Martinez Jr, Brett Gray as Jamal Turner and Diego Tinoco as Cesar Diaz.
Netflix’s On My Block is ambitious and tries to take risks in youth drama. It is an accurate representation of emotionality in friendships and, therefore, of how it affects our decisions, sense of urgency, and direction.
The season three finale ended with a different kind of cliffhanger, giving us a quick glimpse into the lives of the characters two years into the future. Friends broke up, Jamal starting to play football again. In the finale, Jamal and Ruby appeared as if they had ended their friendship. We expect Season 4 to follow their aftermath. Monse currently lives in boarding school, and he seems to have forgotten the whole team. With the characters currently continuing their isolated lives, we just expect a great reunion to happen in Season 4.
The first three seasons of On My Block can be streamed on Netflix.
