‘No War Please’ Russian tennis player gives heart-wrenching message amid Russia-Ukraine war, watch video

New Delhi: The eyes of the whole world are on Ukraine at this time. Russian soldiers are wreaking havoc in many cities of Ukraine. Many have died in the war. Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev has appealed for peace. Rublev is currently participating in a tennis tournament in Dubai. Andre Rublev gave the message of No War Please in the final match. He wrote No war please on the TV broadcaster’s camera screen during the match.

World No. 7 Rublev defeated Poland’s Hubert Herkaz 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (5) in his semi-final match. After this wrote his message on the camera. As soon as Rublev’s message appears on the screen, the spectators in the stadium start clapping and making noise.

Before Rublev, Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev also gave a message about the war. Medvedev is currently playing the Mexico Open. Medvedev said, ‘As a tennis player, I want to promote peace all over the world. We play in many different countries. It’s not easy hearing all this news. I want peace.’

Significantly, the final of the UEFA Champions League has been shifted from Russia. Earlier the final match was to be played in St. Petersburg, but now it has been shifted to Paris.
