Nikita’s Life and Career
Nikita Dutta is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi films and television. She was born on 13 November 1990(Present Age: 31 years old). Her father, Anil Kumar Dutta, was a naval officer in the Indian Navy. In her family, she has an elder sister and her parents. Therefore, she has spent most of her life living in Visakhapatnam, Mumbai, and Kochi. Nikita completed her school education in Mumbai. Thereafter, she pursued graduation in Economics from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai. While in college, Nikita interned at an advertisement agency. Her first paycheck was Rs.5,000. She spent the money on a trip to Goa with her friends.
Her career in the entertainment industry began as a host in a music request show. The show aired on Zoom TV. She participated in Femina Miss India 2012. In the show, she was one of the finalists. Post that, she made her film debut with the film Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. In the film, she played a supporting role. In 2015, she expanded to television with Life OK’s show Dream Girl. However, she is best known for her portrayal of Suman Tiwari in Ek Duje Ke Vaaste and Aanchal Srivastava in Haasil. In 2018, she made her comeback in the movie industry with the film Gold.
In 2019, she also appeared in Kabir Singh. It was a blockbuster at the box office and Nikita played the role of Jia Sharma. Kabir Singh was an adaptation of Vanga’s Telugu movie Arjun Reddy which was released in 2017. The movie had Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.

Nikita is a foodie as well as a fitness freak. She regularly does workouts in the gym or yoga sessions. In a media interaction, Nikita said if she hadn’t been an actor, then she would have been a yoga instructor. She is also a big movie buff. She said that she watches Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gahm at least once a week.

Nikita’s upcoming role will be opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Kookie V. Gulati’s The Big Bull. It is a biographical film about a 1992 stock market scam. She will be portraying the role of Harshad Mehta’s wife Jyoti.
