The wait is finally over. Netflix has announced the release date of Money Heist Season 5. The show’s last season will release in the year 2021 ( Yes, you heard it right! ) Money Heist’s previous season aired in April of 2020. Therefore, there were rumors about Season 5 coming out in the April of 2021. But, that could not happen due to delayed production.
Now, the shooting of the finale has been wrapped up. Money Heist Season 5 is arriving in two volumes. This Spanish drama is originally called ‘La Casa De Papel‘. The first volume will be released on September 3, 2021. And, the second volume will air on 3rd December 2021. There will be a total of 10 episodes in the upcoming Season 5.

Furthermore, Alex Pina, the creator of the show said that it was his suggestion to divide Money Heist Season 5 into two parts. Since Alex wanted to build anticipation among the viewers and live up to their expectations of the finale. In a media statement, he said that ‘When we began to write the Season finale in the midst of the pandemic, we had to change what was expected from the season. We used every tool to create a sensation for the season finale in the first volume itself’.
He added ‘ In volume 2, we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters. It is a journey across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure.’
