NEET PG is expected to be held in August, with notice likely today. The NEET new exam date 2024 notice is scheduled to be announced today for the PG test. The Union Education Minister indicated that the exam date would be published on Monday or Tuesday. The NEET-PG exam is due in August.
Originally planned for June 22, the NEET PG exam was canceled just 12 hours before the scheduled time, confusing candidates. Confirming the rationale for the exam postponement, NBE President Dr. Abhijat Sheth stated that the paper was postponed because the Ministry of Education wished to ensure that the exam was not held under any susceptible circumstances. Dr. Sheth verified that the NEET PG question paper was not leaked.
Let us tell you that Dr. Anilkumar J. Nayak, Honorary General Secretary of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), informed the NBE chief of the issue and urged the IMA to announce the NEET PG date as soon as feasible.

Addressing the incident, the minister stated that former ISRO Chairman K. Radhakrishnan had been given the NTA (National Testing Agency) new leadership and that reforms had been implemented to prevent such a situation from reoccurring. He also acknowledged the gravity of the situation, reportedly saying: “The NTA has new leadership, and reforms have begun. We have enacted a new law to address the issue, and the entire case has been turned over to the CBI.”

His comments came after the announcement of new dates for another canceled exam, the UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test). The test is used to recruit applicants for various teaching and research positions at government universities. The NTA has stated that the exam will now be administered in different shifts from August 21 to September 4. The re-examination will also be computer-based. The NTA followed this pattern until the final edition of the test when it went down. On June 18, 908,580 applicants took the exam utilizing pen and paper (OMR sheets).
Why was the NEET-PG examination postponed?
Alleged anomalies in previous tests such as SUGC NET and NEET UG were faced. The Health Ministry postponed the NEET PG exam in June as a preventive step. The new date will be revealed shortly. The new NEET PG test dates are scheduled to be revealed today, July 1, 2024.
