Shah Rukh Khan has finally begun shooting and was recently spotted on the sets of Pathan. He will be seen alongside John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in Yash Raj’s film Pathan. He collaborated with Atlee and was recently seen shooting for Tamil director Atlee’s film for which he was signed two years back. The shooting of the film is done in Pune. Shah Rukh started shooting a week earlier and Nayanthara joined the sets four days later. Rana Dagubatti who is playing the antagonist role in the film will join the cast later.
This will mark Atlee’s debut in Bollywood and Nayanthara will also be making her Bollywood debut through this film. Trade analyst of South Ramesh Bala confirmed that the shooting has started and wished the team all the success. While this will be the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee, the filmmaker has made a mark with films like Bigil and Mersal. Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero in 2018. The actor’s next Pathan will hopefully release in 2022.
Along with Atlee’s film, Nayanthara is also shooting for five Tamil films as well. Nayanthara who has done nearly 75 films including all south Indian films will mark her debit through Atlee’s untitled film. She is cast opposite Shah Rukh Khan in this film and is expected to be a blockbuster. In a career of nearly two decades, Nayanthara has won many Best Actress awards.
Some of her notable films include Maya, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Raja Rani, and Imaikkaa Nodigal among others. For her performance in Sri Rama Rajyam, she won the prestigious Nandi awards as well. She was last seen in the Tamil crime thriller film Netrikann. In Atlee’s film, the supporting cast includes the likes of actors like Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Sunil Grover. Shah Rukh Khan was looking fitter than ever in the images and his fans were on cloud 9. They have already waited long enough to see their favorite star back in action and seems like the wait is soon going to get over. Shah Rukh has is also hardly seen in commercials these days and therefore his untitled Atlee’s film and Pathan are among the most awaited films of 2022. The shooting of the film is currently done in Pune while the next round of shooting will be done in Mumbai and other parts of India.

Her debut in Bollywood opposite SRK might establish her in Bollywood as well. Many felt that she is at the fag end of her career but even at 36, she is still going strong. The movie is still at the starting phase and has already made the buzz. As per the sources, the film is titled Jawan but no official word on the same by the makers of the film.
