Ankush, Mumbai: Mumbai Police received 26/11-like attack threats on Saturday. A threatening message was sent from a Pakistani number on the WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Control Department. In this message, the unknown person wrote that if his ‘location is traced’ then he will be found outside India. It has also been said in the threatening message that 6 people will execute the plan in India. After this, the police arrested Mohammad Asif, showing readiness.

Crime branch sources said that the person taken into custody is 26-year-old Mohammad Asif, a resident of Mithanpur Bijnor. During interrogation, it was revealed that Mohammad Asif used to work on a truck with his father in Bijnor and lived on the truck as a cleaner. During interrogation, it was further told that after the death of his father, due to debt and financial condition of the house, he came to Mumbai and for the last few months started doing hair cutting work in his brother-in-law’s salon in Virar.
