In addition, AMC has shared new images and precisely one of them, after being published by ComicBook , has allowed us to meet one of the new allies that will accompany Maggie ( Lauren Cohan ) on her return to the series. We already knew one, Elijah ( Okea Eme-Akwari ), since he was next to her in her star appearance in front of the last battle against the Whisperers, but it turns out that he will not be the only one.

Who is it about? Few details are revealed about it, but we know that his name is Cole and that he is played by actor James Devoti .

About the first episode of this new batch we also know that Daryl ( Norman Reedus ) and Kelly ( Angel Theory ) will join the newcomer Maggie in a high-risk quest that confronts them with an invisible and unknown threat, so we can wait,  the appearance of other characters that will not be exactly friendly . Also, and most important of all, the chapter will address once for all the reasons and experiences of Maggie during her long absence.
