Sidharth Malhotra comes with another Netflix movie Mission Majnu. The film is based on the theme of spy-oriented. Where his job is to infiltrate the Pakistan nuclear program. The Netflix trailer shows what a character goes through to complete his assignment. Sidharth Malhotra plays the character of Amandeep Singh, who is an agent in the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). Mission Majnu Synopsis
The film was made under the helm of Shantanu Bagchi. The film is based on true events from the 1970s. The trailer begins with the scene of the character requesting Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi the gravity of locating the nuclear facility in Pakistan. Parmeet Sethi plays the character of RAW head and suggests sending an undercover agent to Pakistan. Sidharth Malhotra took the profession of tailor to hide his real identity. The operation of the secretive mission is Mission Majnu. Furthermore, the film involves the knowledge of the different secretive agencies.
Rashmika Mandanna will be seen alongside Sidharth Malhotra. Rashmika portrays the character of Sidharth’s wife who was unaware of his real identity. The trailer shows what a spy goes through in these types of operations which include giving up his life for the country. This is the first collaboration between Sidharth and Rashmika. Sumit Batheja is the writer of the film. The film was first announced by Ronnie Screwvala in 2020. He announced the film with the caption “There are 1000s of people whose job is behind the scenes to protect the motherland from terrorist organizations and rogue nations. Often their work doesn’t come to the public and remains unnoticed. Mission Majnu is the film just to remind the sacrifice and efforts which stays in the background.”
