Packed with guns, goons and gaalis, this season of Mirzapur is bigger and better and continues with the dark narrative. Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Tripathi
Pankaj Tripathi is a versatile actor. Having acted for the past decade in various roles, Pankaj Tripathi has nailed his character as Kaleen Tripathi. It was this character that made him such a popular name in the industry. So much so that fans have started calling Pankaj as Kaleen Bhaiya on social media. In the Mirzapur series, Kaleen Bhaiya is seen as the crime lord. However, the Tripathi family is broken. Kaleen’s son Munna thinks of himself as invincible and immortal. His wife is on some other track. And, his father has his wicked ways of getting things done. The whole family dynamic is broken still connected somehow which is interesting to watch!
Anjum Sharma as Sharad Shukla
Playing the role of Rati Shankar’s son, Sharad Shukla, was seen in bits in Season 1. However, In Mirzapur Season 2, he is one of the major players. In the previous season, he had shown no interests in the throne of Mirzapur. But, in Season 2 he is the major contenders fighting for the throne of Mirzapur. He is back to take revenge for his father’s death. Anjum Sharma said ” Sharad Shukla was the only person who despite being from the family involved in violence, he is very sorted and thinks with objectivity.”

Isha Talwar as Madhuri Yadav Tripathi
One of the new characters in Mirzapur Season 2 was Madhuri Yadav Tripathi. In her audition, Isha Talwar convinced everyone that she is the best fit for the role. She is the daughter of the CM. Madhuri is first seen in a rally that she does on her father’s behalf. She later tells Munna that she has no interest in politics but she only does political rallies for her father. Madhuri and Munna Tripathi get married in the Season. She comes out as not only beautiful but a clever character.
Ananghsa Biswas as Zarina
Ananghsa Biswas played a crucial role in Mirzapur Season 2. Even though she did not had many dialogues in the series, her expressions speak more than the dialogues. In the Season 2, her character Zarina is seen in a very different light.
Harshita Gaur as Dimpy Pandit
Harshita Gaur plays the character of Dimpy who is the sister of Bablu and Guddu. Her charcter fights lawlessness in Mirzapur. She is seen as a naive woman turned into a fierce woman when she escapes a near-death experience. She loses her beloved brother and then begins her journey to seek justice.
