The Met Gala’s 2023 theme was dedicated to the legendary Karl Lagerfeld – A Line of Beauty. The new costume institute show at the Met Gala in 2023 was just a mere excuse to invite famous people to honor the late Karl Lagerfeld with their classy and jazzy or should we say Clazzy attire. It’s where grace and glam collide.
Many guests wore Chanel’s characteristic tweeds, pearls, chains, and camellias, all of which were Lagerfeld’s iconic designs throughout his tenure at the fashion brand from 1983 until his passing in 2019. The evening was marked by an abundance of black and white ensembles.

Starting with the Kardashian sisters, Kim Kardashian made a grand impression by wearing a Schiaparelli ensemble with pearls and simple attire. While Kylie Jenner grabbed attention in a one-armed red and blue gown, and last but not least Kendall Jenner came with her sisters sporting towering boots and a high collar.
Rihanna on the other hand wore a gorgeous white gown with a long train and a hooded camellia cloak. While, ASAP Rocky caught our eyes with a look evocative of Karl Lagereld’s hallmark style, which featured a plaid open skirt draped over bejeweled trousers.
