Meghan Markle has been the embodiment of quiet elegance in recent appearances in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. However, during five days at the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, she relied on her trademark royal skill to mix timeless pieces from expensive companies with a few more accessible aspects.
Markle attended the Invictus Games on Wednesday, wearing a white J.Crew Giselle V-neck sweater blazer with black contrast trim. The sweater, which was made of wool and cotton with Polyester, also had pockets and gold buttons. Meghan donned a cream trench coat and matching slacks by Cuyana, as well as Aquazzura heels, to the swimming medal presentation on Day 7. Meghan wore a teal strapless dress by Cult Gaia and Aquazzura shoes. And Kima diamond hoop earrings to the Invictus Games closing ceremony.
J.Crew’s website crashed after photographs of Markle in the blazer were revealed. It’s unknown how long it was offline before coming back online. On the brand’s website, the Giselle cardigan is now out of stock in XS, but is available in medium and 2X, with all other sizes available for preorder.
