Love is Blind, a dating show is coming back for another season on Netflix for Season 2. The show has been quite a number. It stayed on the ‘most-watched show’ list and the show’s success can be seen in the followers of the cast on Instagram. Love is Blind was one of the biggest and popular series on Netflix shows of 2020. Luckily, Love Is Blind’s creators Chris Coelen, Sam Dean, Ally Simpson, Eric Detwiler and Terrance Villarreal are just as eager to create Season 2 as audiences are to watch one—and so is Netflix. On March 24, the reality show was renewed for two more seasons.
The concept of Love is Blind
The show takes dating away from the influence of technology and apps to a more realistic approach. The participants are situated in different pods. This way they can only communicate with each other without seeing the other person. Love is Blind, as the name suggests, is where people can make real connections by talking, communicating and fall in love blindly (quite literally).
Though the first two seasons were filmed in Atlanta, this time it’s going to be a new city probably Chicago. They want Love is blind to reach on a global stage. The show also follows one month after a couple gets engaged to show the audience whether they can make their lives work around a committed relationship. A lot of the couples are not filmed in the show because it is very difficult to keep track of so many stories at the same time. Also, there is restricted timing for the episodes.

How does the casting take place?
The casting department calls for an open casting and reaches out to people “who they felt to be genuinely interested in this kind of commitment”. Chris Coelen suggests that for Season 2 different ages might be cast.

There has been no official trailer of Season 2 yet. It is likely to release some time in 2021.

Due to the pandemic, the shooting of reality shows had stalled. This sadly means that the show will be postponed. The last two Seasons arrived during Valentine’s. The show will make a comeback sometime after Feb but definitely in 2021.
