According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on the fifth day of this trading week (August 19) on Friday, gold (Gold Price Update) became cheaper by Rs 213 per ten grams and opened at Rs 51868 per ten grams. Whereas on the last trading day on Thursday, gold became expensive by Rs 47 per ten grams and closed at Rs 52081 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, today silver (Silver Price Update) became cheaper at the rate of Rs 1036 per kg and opened at Rs 56064. Whereas on the last trading day on Thursday, silver became cheaper by Rs 721 and closed at Rs 57100 per kg.
Gold 4300 and silver 23900 is getting cheaper from all time high
After this fall, gold is currently selling cheaper by Rs 4332 per 10 grams than its all-time high. Gold had made its all-time high in August 2020. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 56,200 per ten grams. At the same time, silver was getting cheaper at the rate of about Rs 23916 per kg from its highest level. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg. In such a situation, for those who are planning to buy gold or silver, this can prove to be a good buying opportunity for them.
In this way, today the latest price of 24 carat gold is Rs 51868 per 10 grams, 23 carat gold Rs 51660 per 10 grams, 22 carat gold Rs 47511 per 10 grams, 18 carat gold Rs 38901 per 10 grams and 14 carat gold approx. 30343 per 10 grams level.
Like the Indian bullion market, gold and silver are trading with a fall in the international market today. In the US, gold is trading at a rate of $ 1,756.07 per ounce, down by $ 2.50. On the other hand, silver is trading with a fall of $ 0.15 at the level of $ 19.36 an ounce.
