According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on the fifth day of this trading week (August 19) on Friday, gold (Gold Price Update) became cheaper by Rs 213 per ten grams and opened at Rs 51868 per ten grams. Whereas on the last trading day on Thursday, gold became expensive by Rs 47 per ten grams and closed at Rs 52081 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, today silver (Silver Price Update) became cheaper at the rate of Rs 1036 per kg and opened at Rs 56064. Whereas on the last trading day on Thursday, silver became cheaper by Rs 721 and closed at Rs 57100 per kg.

Like the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today, along with gold, silver is also trading with a fall. Today on MCX, gold is at a level of Rs 51,566, becoming cheaper by Rs 37. While silver is trading at Rs 55,932 with a fall of Rs 511.
Gold 4300 and silver 23900 is getting cheaper from all time high
After this fall, gold is currently selling cheaper by Rs 4332 per 10 grams than its all-time high. Gold had made its all-time high in August 2020. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 56,200 per ten grams. At the same time, silver was getting cheaper at the rate of about Rs 23916 per kg from its highest level.
