Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye is an Indian romantic drama television series. The show premiered on 25 January 2021. Presently, it is aired on Sony Entertainment. The show is produced by Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal. It stars Zaan Khan, Gracy Goswami, Yash Tonk, Pranali Rathod, Shagun Pandey, and Anchal Sahu in lead roles.
The show features the story of Amrit, Vashma, and Radha, three girls who live in Lahore. It focuses on the time when India was on the brink of gaining independence. The three girls hope to achieve their dreams alongside success in their love lives. These 3 women are headstrong and want to do something with their life.
Amrit Sahni is a woman whose views on women’s rights and independence are considered western by society. Vashma Baig is Amrit’s childhood friend and neighbor. She wants to be in full support of her lover’s dream to be a national hockey player. However, Radha is a nomad who gets married to Amrit’s aged uncle. Therefore, she looks forward to her newly married life. Radha wants to be the best at her duty of but a wife.
