Revathi Pillai is an Indian actress who majorly works in TV series. Her family and friends call her Revu or Chiku lovingly. She was born on 5th June 2002 ( Present Age: 19 years old) in Thane, Maharashtra. Her parents are Manoj Pillai and Sheeja Pillai. She is the only child of her parents. Revathi has completed her school education from DAV Thane. She never aspired to be an actor. As a child, she wanted to be an automobile engineer.
Her Career
She has debuted in the web series industry from the TVF’s series ‘Yeh Hai Meri Family‘ in 2018. Revathi played the role of Vidhya M. Ranganath in the series. Yeh Hai Meri Family is a comedy-drama series which is created and directed by Sameer Saxena. The show is available on Netflix.
In the subsequent year, she acted in TVF’s another popular series titled Kota Factory. She played the role of Vartika Ratawal in the series. However, Kota Factory was a stepping stone in her career and she shot to fame with her character as Vartika. She is first introduced as Vartika is first introduced in Season 1, Episode 4. In the episode, Vartika and Vaibhav decide to do a group study and they eventually become good friends. She has also appeared in Special Ops and The Interns. In Special Ops, she played the role of Pari Singh. Special Ops is a thriller series released on Disney + Hotstar. It is based on espionage. The original series was released in March of 2020.
However, The Interns is a very different story. It revolves around the lives of three girls who navigate through their internship and their lives. In the show, Pillai plays Viveka. The other two characters are played by Ahsaas Channaand Rashmi Agdekar. The show promotes sisterhood and tells us stories of how girls support each other in every sphere of life.
