Harshita Shekhar Gaur is an Indian Actress and dancer. She was born on 12 October,1990 (Present age: 31 years) in New Delhi. Her family is full of doctors. Harshita completed her Bachelors of Electronics and Communications engineering from Amity University Noida. In her college days, she was an active member in cultural societies. She participated in drama and creative societies. Harshita began her career as a model.

Although, while she was in college, she got an offer from Sadda Haq. She gained popularity from the youth-led show named Sadda Haq. It was her debut Tv and aired on Channel V. Harshita is a trained Kathak dancer. Across India, she has done various performances on stage. She has performed in Tv commercials as well. Few of the tv commercials she was part of are Dabur Vatika Hair oil, Sunsilk, Garnier and Renault Kwid.

In 2018, Harshita got an offer to play the role of Dimpy Pandit aka Guddu’s and Bablu’s sister. Initially, Harshita declined the offer as the role of their sister was comparatively less significant. After working as a lead role in Sadda Haq, she was looking for a firm and focused plot. However, after giving a thought, she agreed to accept the offer. Things took steep turn in Mirzapur Season 2. Dimpy Pandit was shown in a different light and had a really important role to play. She is the one who fight for justice and stands up against lawlessness in Mirzapur. Harshita received a lot of praise for her acting in Mirzapur.

Apart from Sadda Haq and Mirzapur, Harshita also played prominent roles in Netflix Sacred Games 2 and ALT Balaji’s Puncch Beat. In 2020, she landed a lead role in the show “Happily Ever After”

Rumours were surfacing that Harshita Gaur is now dating her Happily Ever After Co-star Naveen Kasturia. However, Harshita clarified the rumours and said “That’s okay, as long as people have something to talk about you. But I find it really amusing. Honestly, such link-ups don’t bother me. Naveen and I were doing a series, where the couple is madly in love and doing everything to get married and while shooting, we became really good friends. So, I think the vibe was created like that.”
