The sequel of Khuda Hafiz Chapter 1, released in August 2020, Khuda Hafiz Chapter 2: Angi Pariksha, is all set to go on the floors. The first chapter was an action thriller starring Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi in the lead role, and so is the sequel, where they both will be coming together again. Shooting for the second chapter has started which will show an intense love story between the couple, filled with action and drama. Vidyut Jammwal shared a picture on Twitter, where he and his squad is reading a script, with the caption “KHUDA HAAFIZ CHAPTER- II #ArmyVeteran.”.
Taran Adarsh and Vidyut Jammwal both posted a picture of their group and broke out the news of making the sequel of Khuda Hafiz(2020) whose production has begun in Mumbai. Sharing a picture on his social media account, Vidyut Jammwal writes, “A story meant to redefine INTENSEly! Khuda Haafiz Chapter II Agni Pariksha hits the floors.”
Khuda Hafiz chapter 1 was a story of a couple where Sameer Chaudhary (Vidyut Jammwal) sets out on a mission to save his wife Nargis (Shivaleeka) who gets trapped in a flesh trade after she arrives in the middle east. The movie was shot in Uzbekistan. This movie was based on a real-life incident that occurred in 2008 when a man sets out to rescue his wife when she gets trapped in a human trafficking racket. This movie was released on an OTT platform on Disney Hotstar, has an IMDB rating of 7.4 out of 10, and also was loved by the audience countrywide.
Speaking about the sequel, Vidyut Jammwal says, “The sequel is always special as it is a happy validation of what you have done in the past. This story resonates with me because every movie has made me wonder what happens after a happy ending. Khuda Haafiz Chapter II — Agni Pariksha chronicles a couple’s journey amid the challenges of societal pressure after they have traversed over a huge turmoil.” The Director of chapter 2 is Faruk Kabir and the Producers are Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. Faruk Kabir further added, “The core idea for Chapter 2 also comes from them (the real-life incident that happened with the couple shown in the first chapter of the movie) and certain incidents that happened with them. They went through a literal agnipariksha,”. Since the first chapter was shot in Uzbekistan, Faruk is still undecided about the shooting place. Unlike the release of the former part on an OTT platform, this part is planning on its release on a big screen next year, that is, in the year 2022.

Producer Abhishek Pathak also gave his statement about the release of the movie on the big screen, he says, “The second chapter will be full of surprises and we`re determined to keep the audience on the edge of their seats in theatres this time around,”.
Shooting has started for the movie, by Panorama Studios, first, it will be done in Mumbai, and then it will be done in Lucknow. The movie will be action-packed and full of love stories, the intense love story between the couple.
