Her Early Life and Family

Katrina Kaif  is a British actress who primarily works in Bollywood films. Born on 16 July 1983 in Victoria, British Hong Kong (Present Age: 38 years old), Katrina’s father belongs to Kashmir. Her mother Suzanne Turquotte is an English lawyer and charity worker. Her father’s name is Mohammed Kaif and he is a British businessman. However, her parents had divorced when she Katrina was quite young. Thereafter, her father moved to the United States. Katrina’s mother took care of and provided for all her children.

Katrina has seven siblings: 6 sisters and a brother. Her younger sister Isabel is working as a model. As Katrina’s mother decided to dedicate her life for social causes, her children had to move along with her. The family had to move to multiple locations like Japan, China, France, Switzerland, London and many East European countries. Therefore, she had been home-schooled by tutors.

Katrina Kaif  Career

Katrina began modeling at the age of fourteen. She even won a beauty contest in Hawaii. That was the first time she received a  modelling assignment in a jewelry campaign. Thereafter, she went on to model professionally in London. She began working for freelance agencies and appeared at London Fashion Week regularly.

At a fashion show, someone discovered Katrina Kaif and offered her to work in the Hindi-film Boom. It was Kaif’s first movie and she moved to India to film. After coming here, she received many offers and extended her stay in India. She modelled for big brands like Coco Cola, Samsung, Fevicol, Kingfisher Calendar etc. In 2005, Katrina appeared in the political thriller Sarkaar. Subsequently, she was cast in  Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Namaste London, Apne, Welcome, Race and New York. 

After completing a string of successful movies, Katrina Kaif had established her name in the Bollywood film industry. She yet again delivered high-grossing films like Rajneeti, Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani, Ek Tha Tiger, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and Bharat. Her most recent film is Sooryavanshi. It is a cop drama filled with twists. This film has been a hit on the box office. Two of her upcoming films are Phone Bhoot and Jee Le Jaraa.

Lately, Katrina has been getting a lot of attention on her relationship status. The news have been surfacing that Katrina is all set to tie the knot with boyfriend Vicky Kaushal. According to reports, their wedding functions will start from December 7 and continue till December 12. However, there have been no statement from them or their respective families.
