Kathua terrorist attack: 5 soldiers were killed on duty

On Monday, five Army personnel, including a junior commissioned officer (JCO), were killed. Five others were injured in a sneak attack by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s border district of Kathua. It prompted the Army to launch a massive search operation alongside local police and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).

According to Army and police officials, the incident occurred at about 3.30 p.m. outside Badnote Hamlet.
