JioBook Specifications surface in Alleged Geekbench Listing

Jio Book powered by a MediaTek MT8788 SoC has been spotted on Geekbench. The images, as well as the specifications, are surfacing on the internet. This specific model with a MediaTek MT8788 SoC and 2 GB RAM has debuted on Geekbench. It has the model number NB1112MM. Jio recently launched the Jio Phone Next. After the reports of the JioBook started appearing on the internet. The specifications of the JioBook model number NB1112MM indicate that it will be a budget segment laptop with bare minimum specifications. The benchmark scores of the model number NB1112MM are 1178 and 4246 for the single-core and multi-core respectively.

JioBook was previously spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. It indicated that not one, but three laptops with varied specifications were planned in the JioBook lineup. The model numbers of these three JioBook laptops were NB1112MM, NB1118QMW, and NB1148QMW respectively. It may be an attempt to provide users with some options while selecting a JioBook and who knows, maybe the high-end variant will be more powerful than the meager 2GB RAM and MediaTek MT8788 SoC combination of the model number NB1112MM. The device may run a custom OS by Jio on top of Android 11 and may come preloaded with useful apps from Jio and Microsoft such as office and JioStore, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Edge, Office, JioMeet, JioPages, and many more such apps.

JioBook leaked specifications

According to a previous tip from XDA, the JioBook may come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. Along with a Snapdragon X12 4G modem. It may have a display resolution of HD (1,366×768 pixels) display along with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of eMMC onboard storage. Its wireless connectivity options may include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth along with a mini-HDMI port for connecting to external displays. There are no leaks about the pricing of any of the three variants but looking at the previous history of all Jio products, it may be launched as an economical offering aimed at students and office usage.
