King Khan and Bhaijaan’s Fight
Shah Rukh Khan, popularly known as King Khan is one of the biggest stars in the Bollywood industry. Similarly, Salman Khan is called Bhaijaan lovingly in the industry. The relationship between the two Khan’s has always been in limelight in the industry. However, they have shared screen space together many times. There is no doubt that their relationship has gone on a roller coaster ride in the past 3 decades. Once, they were best buddies, and once they were arch enemies. Even though we agree that all relationships have their ups and downs, this one has some extreme ends.
Infamous Incident on Katrina’s Birthday Bash
Katrina Kaif’s birthday party had been a hit. Not just because of the big party that Katrina threw, but because Shah Rukh Khan and Salman had a big fight there. In 2008, Katrina was dating Salman Khan. On her birthday, 16th July 2008, she hosted a party for Bollywood friends. Katrina had also invited Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan for the party. Many other actors were present her birthday to wish her on her special day.
At the party, everything was going smoothly until SRK and Salman’s big fight. According to sources, Salman began abusing Shah Rukh’s reality show ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain‘ in front of others. To which Shah Rukh responded with a harsh answer. Everyone thought that the matter was over. However, Salman again triggered the topic gesturing towards Shah Rukh. It was a hard blow and SRK responded with a remark related to Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai. Both went on to threats, abuses, and even physical violence in the party.

Eventually, Gauri Khan had to intervene. She dragged SRK out from the party while Aamir Khan tried to calm down Salman. Katrina was also totally devastated. She walked out of a party with Salman. Aishwarya’s mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan didn’t take Shah Rukh Khan’s remark lightly.
Jaya Bachchan’s Reaction
While having an interaction with People magazine, Jaya Bachchan had spoken about her anger towards Shah Rukh Khan’s comment on Aishwarya. She said she would have slapped him then and there if he had made such remarks at her home. When asked if she holds any grudges against King Khan, she said “Of course, I do. I haven’t had the opportunity to discuss it with him, and I am going to speak to him about it. If he was at my home, I would have slapped him, just as I would my own son. But I have connected with him in my soul, and that’s it.”
Apparently, Jaya was so upset with Shah Rukh that she called his film Happy New Year a nonsensical film. However, Shah Rukh also called Big B’s popular film Amar Akbar Anthony a nonsensical film. Reportedly, Abhishek Bachchan apologized to Shah Rukh Khan on his mother’s comment on his movie.
However, both the families are close to each other. Jaya Bachchan considers Shah Rukh Khan as her son. They have also represented West Bengal on many occasions as they are close to Mamta Banarjee.
