Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke review: Regina Cassandra plays a strong female police officer in this predictable yet entertaining story.

Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke, a Zee5 television program, aims to show viewers the sacrifices and difficulties that IPS officers stationed throughout the country must make. Regina Cassandra portrays Kavya Iyer, a character who is both a mother and a daughter. While serving in Meghalaya, Kavya earned the epithet “Shillong Ki Sherni” and built quite the name. However, Kavya’s impulsive temperament leads her to drive confidently into hazardous circumstances without giving her team’s security much thought. She is firm and fair, and she won’t hesitate to use the police force when necessary to complete the job.

“Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke”: Regina Cassandra takes on terrorist threat as a demoted police officer.

After an incident resulting in numerous fatalities, she experienced a demotion to supervise students at the police school. Kavya suspects that a politician was the target of a recent terrorist strike in Meghalaya. However, the criminals manage to escape, leaving the policeman with regret. Following the introduction of Mahira Rizvi (Mita Vashisht) and her team at the NIA, the action picks up speed. They add Kavya to their squad while working on a case identical to this one involving a potential terror threat.

Kavya adapts her methods to join Mahira’s team and track down terrorists from Guwahati to Jaipur and Kerala. The masterminds behind the terrorist attacks are revealed to be Tariq and Thasleena, who use radicalized Muslim teens to carry out the bombings.

Until the last episode, when it is convenient for the plot to be wrapped up, authors Neeraj Udhwani and Ashish P. Verma impatiently keep the police consistently one step behind the terrorist pair. Srijit Mukerji, the film’s director, also manages to keep the police chase’s tension relatively low, even though it ought to have been tense to the bone. The cops can come across as being unprepared to deal with two terrorists.

The two strong female characters in the series keep it interesting, but as the plot develops, it becomes incredibly predictable.
