Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia is an Indian rapper better known by his stage name Badshah. He is known for his smash songs “Kala Chashma,” “Garmi,” and “Let’s Nacho,” among many other songs.
Badshah came to social media on Sunday to apologize for the lyrics of his brand-new song, “Sanak.” The 37-year-old decided to record a new version with the modifications and replace the previous one. Since some individuals took offense at the song’s usage of the name of a Hindu god.
Badshah expressed regret that one of his most recent songs, “Sanak.” It appears to have offended some individuals in a post on Instagram. No one’s feelings would ever be hurt by me, whether consciously or inadvertently. I am completely sincere and passionate about bringing my artistic works and musical compositions to you, my admirers.
“In response to this recent occurrence, I changed portions of the song’s lyrics and implemented the replacement with this new version on all digital platforms to further avoid harming anyone. I kindly request everyone to have patience at this time as it will take a few days for the replacement of the song. Please stay calm until the process is completed for the new changed version of the song to come on all the platforms.
I respectfully apologize to everyone I may have unintentionally offended. “My fans continue to be my pillar of support, and I will always hold them in the highest regard and with boundless affection,” Badshah continued.
Several sources claim that Badshah made this decision days after receiving criticism for using the name “Bholenath” in the song “Sanak” from a senior monk at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. He also charged the rapper with “hurting religious sentiments”.
Earlier at the beginning of this month Badshah spoke about his personal life. He stated that he has no plans for marriage in the meantime.
“Dear media, I respect you, but this is super lame,” he wrote. I’m not going to marry. Whoever is giving you this nonsense should find a better masala.”
Previously, the rapper was married to Jasmine Masih. After nearly eight years together, they announced their quits in 2020. Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, their six-year-old daughter, is their only child.
