All this because of the comments the actor made about the physical exhaustion that the program required to do, in addition to Alex O’Loughlin’s contract that would expire in 2020.

But former showrunner Peter M. Lenkov, who was fired after the Hawaii Five-0 series finale, had confirmed that the actor wanted this to be his last year on the show and it did.
