Things have been pretty silent on the Harley Quinn season 3 leading because of the announcement of the renewal. We had been warned that production would take some time, but, of course, we’re always anxious to listen to some form of announcement.

Fantastic news has finally arrived as executive producer Patrick Schumacker has announced that voice recording began on Monday. “Now we started recording [Harley Quinn] season,” explained Schumacker. “[Diedrich Bader] was back as Batman! Jim Rash was back as Riddler! And [Chris Meloni] was again back as Commissioner Gordon! We are back

Harley Quinn got its start with the first two seasons being first programming for the now-defunct DC Universe services. With the transformation of that service to the comics-only DC Universe Infinite, the finished episodes of Harley Quinn moved to the HBO Max service.

Series creator and executive producer Justin Halpern have teased a little what we can expect from year 3 saying, “We spent two years digging into Harley, and Ivy was her very own personality, but her stories were told largely in relation to Harley. So, I believe in this season, it’d be interesting to flip this, and dig deeper into Ivy and her life, and tell a few stories through her point of view. Thus, we’re excited to be able to do that since it seems completely fresh –somewhere to go we have not gone, that is not likely to make the audience feel like, “We saw just two seasons of that.
