Singing sensation, Guru Randhawa who has given hits after hits with his songs like Lagdi Lahore Di, Suit Suit, and Haigh Rated Gabru among others will be seen in a Bollywood film as an actor. His songs have been a regular feature in Bollywood films and have appealed to the audience to the core. He has also been quite active on social media and is often seen at events as he is considered a marketing product by many producers.
As per a report, Guru Randhawa will be making his debut in a musical drama film produced by Endemol Shine India. He was as excited as he said exploring new horizons has always been his dream. The storyline revolves around a singer who struggles to find his feet and how makes it to the pinnacle of the music industry. The contract has been inked and Guru will start shooting for the film from mid-September.
The dates have already been given by the singer and he has termed this film to be his ‘dream project’. He was in all smiles and thanks for the production house to have signed him as he believes he will do justice to the story because he said he himself can very much relate to the character.
The Dutch-based company Endemol Shine has also expressed its excitement about having Guru on board. Their CEO, Abhishek Rege has said having Guru on a film under our production is a dream come true. The company said they were privileged to launch Guru as an actor under their banner. Guru Randhawa’s journey has nothing been short of a roller coaster ride.

Guru Randhawa started with a single Same Girl has garnered over 500 million views on most of his songs. His music videos have always featured some of the top models and actresses. Norah Fatehi, Sanjana Sanghi, and Nusrat Bharucha have all been featured in his music videos. His music video of Lahore is just short of a billion mark on YouTube while High Rated Gabru has already crossed that magical figure of 1 billion. While talking about his new venture, Guru said he is too excited and can’t wait to start preparing for his role.
The turnaround time is less as the Covid protocols are still in line and they will be working under a safe bio-secure environment for this film. A lot has been riding on Guru Randhawa Now, as he is also been contracted with T-Series with whom he is due to record 2 songs this year. Guru has a highly busy schedule but he keeps his fans updated through his social media accounts. We are going to see a lot more of him this year and hopefully, he will mesmerize the audience with his actions just like he has with his singling.
