Season 17 of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ has gotten fully into the issue of Covid-19 and it has been the protagonist herself, Dr. Meredith Gray (Ellen Pompeo), who is dealing with the virus. While he slept he had a series of visions that were the most emotional encounter for the fans. Gray saw his late love, Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey), on the idyllic beach.

But that beach, to which the doctor has arrived in dramatic situations, the truth is that it continues to bring joy to the fans. In a season that is expected to be even more difficult and emotional than usual, the beach seems to be the oasis in which the creators of the series will give us impossible joys. After Derek’s return, the last chapters have shown us the return of George O’Malley (TR Knight), Grey’s also a late close friend.

Ellen Pompeo herself had already shown images of this emotional reunion on her Instagram:

TR Knight has spoken to Deadline about what it has meant for him to return to ABC’s medical drama 11 years after his death (fictional, of course) in a scene that also briefly features Bailey and Richard.

In the next episodes more faces known to that beach will appear, so prepare your tissues to continue with season 17 of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.
