Nidhi Bhanushali is an Indian television actress. She was born on 16th March 1999( Present Age: 22 years old) in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Her home is in Mumbai. She attended St. Xaviers High School in Mumbai and Surajba Vidya Mandir. She actively participated in co-curricular activities during her school days. Post her school education, Nidhi went on to pursue her B.A. She wanted to become a psychologist.
Her Career
When Nidhi was just 11 years old, she began her acting career. She used to feature in television commercials. In the year 2012, she made her television debut in the super hit show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. Nidhi played the role of Mr. and Mrs. Bhide’s daughter Sonalika or Sonu Bhide. She quit the show in February 2019. It was reported that she quit the show because she wanted to complete her B.A from Mithibhai College in Mumbai. In the show, her exit was explained as Sonu going abroad for higher studies. However. she was later replaced by Palak Sidhwani.
Nidhi has also featured in a film titled ‘Montu Ki Paltan‘. The film was directed by Vikrant Moore and she played the role of Nidhi. Reportedly, the makers of Bigg Boss 15 approached Nidhi Bhanushali to participate in the reality show. Although it is likely that she may participate in the Salman Khan-hosted show but there’s no confirmation.

Apart from acting, Nidhi is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. Nidhi says that her mother is her inspiration and she wishes to be like her. In a media interaction, she once said, “ My mom is my role model in life. She is my caretaker. Every morning she wakes up at 5 a.m so that she can cook for all of us. Be it my studies or my shoots, she has always been there for me. So yeah I admire her and someday I would want to become like her.”
