Maheep kapoor is an entrepreneur by profession. She owns a jewelry designing firm based in Mumbai itself. She is the member of famous kapoor family her husband is none other than Sanjay Kapoor a famous actor and producer. In 2020 people came to know about her because of her OTT debut with the show name “Fabulous Life of Bollywood Wives” you can watch this show on Netflix.
Maheep Kapoor was born in a Sikh family her name was Maheep Sandhu on Thursday, 29 April 1982 in Delhi, India. Later in her life she moved to Australia with her family in 1998 she tied the knot with Sanjay Kapoor. Thereafter, they moved to Mumbai where she struck with the idea of jewellery business and
also did a course regarding this from Diamond Institute of Mumbai.
Her Career Trajectory
In 1994 Maheep also appeared in a music vedio of “Nigori Kesi Jawani Hai” by Ila Arun. After that, She debut in bollywood with the film name Shivam opposite Raaj Kumar but unfortunetly the project got cancelled after that she ventured into the business world. Before debuting as an entrepreneur she got the on hand experience by working with the renowned company like: Satyani Fine Jewels. Her Brainchild collection ” Chandbalis Fine Jewels by Satyani” became the most popular and best selling collection of Satyani Fine Jewels. These Stunning pairs were worn by our bollywood divas like: Neha Dhupia, Maliaka Arora, Dia Mirza etc.
In 2006 she got the big opportunity to design the Jewels for the movie ” Kabhi Alvida na Kehna” and after that for the blockbuster ” Om shanti Om ” in 2007 which earned her fortunes. In the same year she became the director of Sanjay Kapoor Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. In 2013 she founded Bandra 190, retail luxury boutique with her friends Sussane Khan and Seema Khan. In 2014 she collaborated with the brand Viva- Luxe a luxury online store for asian traditional wear in which she holds the position of fashion director.
