After the success of Pathan and Jawan, fans are eagerly waiting for Shahrukh Khan’s film Dunki. This film has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani, due to which people’s curiosity has increased even more. Recently, some media reports claimed that the date of the film has been extended beyond the scheduled time. However, Shahrukh has broken his silence on this and dismissed all the rumours.
During the Jawan Success Meet on Friday, King Khan talked about the release of the film. Addressing the media and fans, the actor said, “I am not trying to show off. God has been very kind that Pathan got such a huge success. May God be even kinder to the young man that it was loved by even more people.”
Then without mentioning any of the reports, he confirmed that Dunki is indeed coming to theaters on Christmas. Shah Rukh Khan mentioned, “We kicked off our journey on January 26, Republic Day – a propitious and special day to begin.” Then on Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna, we released this film and now on Christmas we will bring Donkey. I want national unity.”
He further said jokingly, “Anyway, when my film is released, it is Eid.” Let us tell you that Donkey is Shahrukh’s first film with director Rajkumar Hirani. It also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. This film is being released in theaters in the last week of December. This is the first time since 2004 that Shahrukh is releasing three films in a year.
