About the movie: Drushyam 2
Drushyam 2 is an upcoming Telugu-language thriller drama film. The film is written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. However, Drushyam 2 is a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film Drishyam 2 and a sequel to Drushyam which was released in 2014. The film stars Daggubati Venkatesh in the lead role of Ram Babu. Other prominent roles have been played by Meena, Nadhiya, Naresh, Kruthika, Esther Anil. They have been reprising their roles from first part.
On Monday, Amazon Prime Video released the trailer of Drushyam 2. Check it out below:
When will Drushyam 2 release?
Drushyam 2 is a thriller movie mixed with family drama. This film is a one which will promise to entertain you throughout. To all the Drushyam fans out there who have been eagerly waiting for the second part, the film is just around the corner. The negotiations regarding the release date and mode were being discussed since May. Therefore, at that time only, considering the Covid-19 situation, the makers opted for a digital release. After many negotiations, they gave the distribution rights to OTT platform to Amazon Prime Video.

Finally, the film is all set to release on streaming media Amazon Prime Video on 25 November 2021 (Thursday).

What to expect?
In 2014, Drushyam came out. Since, then fans have been coming up with their own stories of what might happen next. Therefore, Drushyam 2 is hoping to clarify those doubts.
In a media interaction, Venkatesh said, “With the sequel, we intend to finally put to rest all theories that our fans have been sharing with us over the years about how and what could have taken place in Rambabu’s life as he strode ahead, having sworn to protect his family. Drushyam 2 will take audiences on an emotional-yet-exhilarating journey, with the twists and turns in the plot that keep the suspense alive, and our viewers yearning for more.”
Even the director Jeethu Joseph talked about how Drushyam is close to his heart. He said that he changed his time about a million time before finally deciding on the current story line. He expressed his gratitude towards his cast and crew for transforming his dream into a reality.
