Panic refers to a sudden feeling of fear that cannot be controlled and stops you from thinking properly. When you suffer a panic attack, physical, emotional, and behavioral symptoms develop. Physical symptoms of stress include aches, trouble sleeping, breathlessness. Emotional symptoms can be sadness and anxiety.
Panic attacks are a terrifying experience. It is a symptom of panic disorder, which fortunately is one of the most treatable of anxiety disorders. When panic attacks occur, it feels like you are losing control. Many people wonder how a panic attack occurs? Sometimes, in the human body, the ‘flight-or-fight’ response is triggered even when there is no danger about to happen. There is no apparent reason or explanation for it.
However, it is important to know how to deal with panic under pressure. Here is a list of few tips which can help:

There are some ways to cope up with stress during pressure. Don’t try to be fake happy when you’re under pressure because that is going to put more stress.
- Move: Try to change your physiology if you cannot change your psychology. Getting up and getting going can also help in reducing stress a little. Drink water before anything else.
- Water: The original energy drink i.e water can sharpen your mind.
- Write it down: Make a list and make at least five-point that why you are feeling so stressed.
- Time Management: If you have a working pressure or a deadline to complete, time management can also help in reducing the stress during the time of work. Saying ‘no’ to outside demands and ‘yes’ to yourself – included giving yourself time and not saying yes to every shiny opportunity you see because it’s very important to take out time for yourself and acknowledge what you are feeling.
- Shift your attention: Focus on the things that really need your attention at that time and stop worrying about other things which will help you deal with stress.
- Use Medication: Panic attacks are difficult to control and sometimes proper medication is needed to overcome them completely. ( Doctor’s advice needed) They can be treated with a range of therapies like psychotherapy, stress management, and relaxation techniques.
