Tiger 3, which starred three Bollywood stars, was akin to a desi Avengers moment. The newest action film from superstar Salman Khan was released on Sunday. Hrithik Roshan did a cameo in Tiger3, the second one done by Shah Rukh Khan. The third entry in the wildly popular franchise features Katrina Kaif as well as Emran Hashmi in an antagonistic role.
The spy thriller, which also includes Hrithik Roshan’s War and superstar Shah Rukh’s Pathaan, is a part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe. Resuming their roles as spy agents Pathaan and Kabir, Shah Rukh and Hrithik are both in Tiger 3.

Ayan Mukerji, who also filmed the Hrithik sequence in Tiger 3, is directing War 2, according to a Bollywood Hungama report. “His role in the film is a cinematic masterpiece! His presence elevates an already amazing movie to a whole new level. An incredible surprise that takes the anticipation to whole new levels!” wrote a user on X (formerly Twitter). “This is just a tease, get ready for the Grand Comeback of #KABIR,” said another tweet.

Salman played Tiger and made a cameo in Shah Rukh’s Pathaan earlier this year. This time, the tables are turned as Pathaan makes a spectacular return in Tiger 3, much to the superstar’s fans’ amazement.

Salman and Shah Rukh’s chemistry is still strong, as one user put it, joking, “Salman didn’t look at Katrina romantically in the whole Tiger 3 movie the way he looked at SRK in a cameo.”
Salman and Shah Rukh will now reunite for a full-length movie, Tiger vs Pathaan, after a series of appearances. The big action film will be directed by Siddharth Anand and is scheduled to go on floors in March 2024. After Tiger 3, the spy universe will see War 2 as well as the start of a female-led spy movie starring Alia Bhatt.
Shah Rukh will make another appearance on the big screen in December with the comedy-drama Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Hrithik will next be seen in Fighter, which is scheduled for release in January 2024.
