Rocky director, Arun Matheswaran is expected to direct the next Dhanush starrer. Though Rocky is yet to make a mark in the Tamil filmdom, the director is making his presence felt. The trailer of Arun Matheswaran’s debut direction, Rocky released in 2019 which raised the eyebrows of film critics and movie buffs. Rocky was projected to make theatrical release earlier this summer but unfortunately, Covid-19 ruined its release plans.
Arun’s second film, Saani Kayidham released its first-look earlier this year in August. Selvaraghavan makes his acting debut in the movie along side Keerthy Suresh.
Dhanush’s Next Movie
Arun Matheswaran is in talks with Dhanush as the duo are introspecting the possibility of coming together for a film. Based on the latest buzz around this recent development, Dhanush went through the script and is interested in the prospects of working on this film. Dhanush’s current projects and schedules will be reviewed before the duo turn their plans into reality.
Interestingly, Dhanush revealed the poster for Arun’s second film Saani Kayidham. Saani Kayidham is a period film from the 80’s and belongs to the action drama genre.

Before the pandemic, Dhanush’s hands were full with five projects in his kitty. However, the biggest buzz around Dhanush’s projects is for his second Hindi film, Atrangi Re. Dhanush debuted in Bollywood with Ranjana. In Tamil, Karnan from Mari Selvaraj is a hyped project for Dhanush. Dhanush was in the news recently for his upcoming picture under the Sun pictures banner directed by Mithran Jawahar.
