Dhanush is an Indian actor, producer, director, lyricist, and playback vocalist best known for his work in Tamil films. He was born on the 28, 1983, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Over his 20-year acting career, Dhanush has appeared in 46 films and won 13 SIIMA Awards, 9 Vijay Awards, 7 Filmfare Awards South, 5 Vikatan Awards, 5 Edison Awards, 4 National Film Awards (two as an actor and two as a producer), and 1 Filmfare Award.
He has been named to the Forbes India Celebrity 100 List six times, which considers the earnings of Indian celebrities. More acclaim and success followed him in the critically acclaimed and financially successful films Yaaradi Nee Mohini (2008) and Polladhavan (2010). (2007, 2007). He won Best Performer at the 58th National Film Awards for his performance as a rooster combat jockey in Aadukalam.

Dhanush, the upcoming action film Naane Varuven, will be released in theatres worldwide on September 29.
Dhanush wrote the screenplay and directed the film, which he also acted in. The plot revolves around a déjà vu effect between two identical twins. The censor board has certified ‘Naane Varuvean’ as UA, with a runtime of 2 hours and 15 minutes.
They have announced that the film will be released in theatres worldwide on December 2nd. The film is known as Vaathi in Tamil. The filmmakers announced the film’s release date on social media with the help of a brand new poster.
