A month ago, we announced the return of Michael C. Hall in a ninth season of Dexter scheduled for 2021. A surprising announcement that did not fail to excite but also to worry fans of the series. And for good reason, eight years after the broadcast of the last round of episodes, they are still shocked by the final season described as “the worst end of the series in the world”. And even if since then, the original showrunner – who has planned to resume service – has multiplied statements to reassure servers, this final season consisting of ten episodes will be eagerly awaited at the turn. Clyde Phillips knows it, this time he won’t have the right to make mistakes!

To succeed in his bet, the showrunner will most likely count on a cast with small onions. As proof according to The Illuminerdi, John Cusack saw in the thriller Utopia on Prime Video, is currently in the running to play a new character named Kurt. It is said to be about a former trucker who ends up becoming the leader of a North American city to “clean up his son Matt’s mess using his wealth”. The site also clarified that before him, the role had been offered to Tim Robbins (The Escapees, Top Gun)who declined the proposal. For now, no details regarding his possible link with the former forensic expert have been revealed. While waiting to learn more, discover these three questions that season 9 of Dexter will have to answer to seduce fans again.
