Darshan Thoogudeepa, also known as Darshan, is a Kannada cinema actor, producer, and distributor from India. He is one of Kannada cinema’s leading modern performers.
Hemanth Kumar was born to actor Thoogudeepa Srinivas and Meena. He completed his primary and secondary studies in Mysuru as a child. Darshan has a few tele-serials and tele-shows before entering the film industry. He began with uncredited and supporting roles.
After leaving Ninasam, he worked as a lightboy in several films before breaking into mainstream filmmaking.
He made his starring part debut in P. N. Satya’s 2001 film Majestic, and has subsequently acted in other blockbuster films. His famous roles include Datha, Abbhay, Saarathi, Krantiveera Sangoli Rayanna, Jaggu Dada, and Chakravarthy. Yajamana, Kurukshetra, and Odeya are among his 2019 publications. Roberrt, an action-thriller film, is one of his projects for 2021.
He later won the best actor award at the South Filmfare Awards for his role in 2012 historical biopic Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna.

Darshan, Rachita Ram, and Ravichandran play the key parts, and this is their third collaboration following Bulbul and Ambareesha.
