Criminal Minds Season 16: Release Date, Cast, Plot And More Recant Updates

Criminal Minds is your long-running American police crime-drama series, created by Jeff Davis. Just 1 year after concluding its 15-season operate on CBS, a revival of the show is now in the works at Paramount Plus.

When will Criminal Minds season 16 be released?

A premiere date for Criminal Minds seasons 16 is still very much TBA for now. On February 19, 2021, TVLine reported that the project is at the earliest stages of development. As a result, there aren’t any deals set up with the cast of authors. If Paramount+ and the series co-producers, CBS Studios and ABC Signature, can iron out the details, then it’d likely be a year or longer before the resurrection comes to fruition.

Although it has just been a year since the series ended, many members of this cast and crew have moved on to new projects. And since it seems like the revival has been viewed as a continuation of the show, Paramount+ no doubt desires as many of the show’s key players as you can. For now, fans will just have to be patient as all of the behind-the-scenes deals are payable.

What will happen in the Criminal Minds reboot?

Criminal Minds originally ran on CBS for 15 seasons from 2005 before 2020.
The show followed several FBI criminal profilers who work for the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU).

In February 2020, the show came to an end after 325 episodes and ended on no major cliffhangers, leaving the door wide open to Criminal Minds to reunite.
