The coming of age horror story ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ has announced a Season 5 before the premiere of Season 4. This is because of the show’s immense popularity among teens and young adults. This series is based on the Archie Comics series and is produced by Warner Bros. Television. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is available to stream in India exclusively on Netflix.

The show stars Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina Spellman, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle, Lucy Davis as Hildegarde Antoinette “Hilda” Spellman, Miranda Otto as Zelda Phiona Spellman, Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman, Michelle Gomez as Mary Wardwell and Lilith / Madam Satan, Jaz Sinclair as Rosalind “Roz” Walker, Tati Gabrielle as Prudence Blackwood (née Night) and Richard Coyle as Father Faustus Blackwood.
Plot
The story is set in the fictional town of Greendale where 16-year-old Sabrina Spellman is a half-witch half-human and studies at Baxter High, balancing her normal life while studying witchcraft. On her sixteen birthday, she has to choose between the life of witchcraft and the normal life of a mortal like her friends.
The show narrates Sabrina’s experiences after realizing who she is. She unravels many family secrets, breaks up with her boyfriend Harvey Kinkle, who comes from the lineage of witch hunters, after he realizes that she is a witch.

She also fights demons by using her magical powers in the Spellman mortuary. In season 2 a love triangle is showcased between Sabrina, Harvey Kinkle and Nicholas Scratch- a warlock appointed by Satan to befriend Sabrina at the Academy of Unseen Arts.
Furthermore, Sabrina realizes that she is the daughter of Lucifer Morningstar (Satan himself) and Lilith (The first witch and first wife of Adam).
Season 4 of the show will premiere on 31st December 2020, and will include witches waging war on Earth and The Eldritch Terrors will descend upon Greendale.
The plot for season 5 has not to be revealed yet but the makers have assured that it will feature a crossover with the characters of Riverdale.
Release Date
The developer of the show Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa announced via Twitter that Season 3 of the show will return with a twist. The story will continue in a comic book form and will feature a crossover with Riverdale characters. He also shared a poster via Twitter confirming the same.
